Summer Camp 2023

The second annual LA Select Summer Camp 2023, held from June 20-23, 2023 at Academy USA, was our biggest camp yet, with a record number of participants. The camp was a thrilling week of basketball, focused on enhancing individual skills, teamwork, while having a blast.
The camp's standout moments included sessions with featured trainers Olin Simplis, an NBA/WNBA Player Development Specialist. Campers also enjoyed hearing from guest speakers like Caris Levert of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Tari Eason from the Houston Rockets, who shared their professional journeys and advice on excelling at the highest level. Newton Mayenge from HBO’s Winning Time offered advice and insight from his experiences as an actor and overseas professional.
