About Coach Shabaz
Coach Alex Shabazian has been part of the LA Select coaching staff since 2022, bringing valuable experience working with youth players at various stages of development. His approach focuses on building strong fundamentals, improving decision-making, and helping players gain confidence on the court.
Known for his patience and ability to connect with players, Coach Shabaz creates a positive and supportive training environment where athletes are encouraged to learn, compete, and grow. He emphasizes proper technique, effort, and accountability while keeping sessions engaging and age-appropriate.
A graduate of Crescenta Valley High School, Coach Shabaz continues to expand his basketball knowledge while pursuing his undergraduate degree at Cal State Northridge. His commitment to teaching the game the right way makes him a trusted trainer for players looking to improve their skills and overall understanding of the game.
