Winter Camp 2024
January 2-5, 2024 @Academy USA
Our second annual LA Select Winter Camp, hosted from January 2-5, 2024, at Academy USA, brought together basketball players of all ages and abilities for a week focused on skill development and teamwork. The camp emphasized refining individual techniques and fostering a passion for the game.
Guest speakers added valuable insights to the week. Gavin Shaghoian, LA Select alum and JUCO player from Canyons Community College, shared his experiences at the college level. Rich Elmoyan, with FIBA and NCAA DII experience, offered tips on game preparation and a competitive mindset. The camp also featured a jersey day, where campers wore their favorite players' jerseys, and prizes were awarded throughout the week.
