Winter Camp 2023

The first-ever LA Select Winter Camp, held from January 3-6, 2023, at Academy USA, set the stage for an exciting winter tradition. The camp offered a mix of skill training stations, expert coaching, and fun competitions with prizes, providing a well-rounded basketball experience for players of all levels.
Campers benefited from top-tier training led by experts like NBA/WNBA Player Development Specialist Olin Simplis, NCAA standout Andre Spight, and Doctor of Physical Therapy Melissa Livingston. Engaging guest speakers, including FIBA gold medalist Andre Spight, NCAA National Champion Destiny Littleton from USC, and overseas professional Austin Pope, shared their insights. The week also featured a lively coaches vs. campers game, adding a fun and competitive element to the camp atmosphere, and skill competitions where prizes were awarded for standout performances.
