Stepping into his first year as the Frosh Head Coach at Crescenta Valley High School, Coach Chris has already made an impact, guiding his team to an impressive 15-3 record.
A Glendale native, Coach Chris's basketball journey began at Crescenta Valley High School, where he played and built the foundation for his coaching career. After graduating from Cal State Northridge in 2023, he returned to his alma mater to take on dual roles as the Frosh Head Coach and a Varsity Assistant Coach. His deep understanding of the game, combined with his passion for mentoring young athletes, makes him a vital asset to both Crescenta Valley and LA Select.
Since joining the LA Select coaching staff in 2023, Coach Chris has brought a strategic basketball mind and an unwavering commitment to his players. More than just a coach, he is a mentor who fosters meaningful connections on and off the court. His dedication to player growth, both in skill and character, aligns perfectly with LA Select’s mission of developing well-rounded athletes who thrive in competition and in life.
In addition to his coaching roles, Coach Chris also serves as the Youth Recruiting Coordinator for LA Select, helping parents and players through our tryout and evaluation process.
