In the world of high school basketball, there are milestones that define a player’s legacy. For Pilibos High School’s Lara Kasbarian (2025), Tuesday night was one of those moments. An LA Select standout, and relentless competitor on both ends of the floor, Lara has made a name for herself as a defensive specialist with elite court vision and an ability to take over games. Whether she’s locking down opponents or attacking the basket, her presence is undeniable.
Last night (Tuesday, January 28), Lara etched her name into Pilibos history by scoring her 1,000th career point—a remarkable achievement that highlights her dedication, skill, and impact on the program. Reaching this milestone is no small feat, and it speaks volumes about the work she has put in to elevate her game year after year.
A Leader On and Off the Court

“Lara Kasbarian is an exceptional athlete who truly knows the game of basketball. She’s a teammate I would want on my team. She pushes her teammates to stay motivated and never gives up. Her high IQ on the court allows her to strive to be the best she can be. She has an amazing 3-point shot and can score on all three levels. Any program will be lucky to have her after her high school career.”
