Breaking: Coach Alexa Mirzaian Named Acting Head Coach at Pasadena City College
Proud to announce that Coach Alexa Mirzaian, our High School Girls Coordinator, has been named Acting Head Coach of the Pasadena City College Women’s Basketball Team for the 2025-26 season.
Coach Alexa has become a respected leader within the Southern California basketball community. In addition to her new role at Pasadena City College, she continues to serve as the Girls Varsity Head Coach at Burbank High School and the Director of Basketball Operations for Jr Hoops, Los Angeles’ fastest-growing youth basketball league.
Since joining LA Select in 2022, Coach Alexa has made a tremendous impact through her passion, discipline, and commitment to player development. She is known for empowering athletes, building confidence, and creating a culture centered on growth both on and off the court.
The PCC Lancers open their 2025-26 season on Saturday, November 1, hosting the Sisterhood of Champions Tournament. They’ll face Taft College in their opener at 1 p.m., followed by a matchup against San Bernardino Valley on Sunday, November 2 at 11 a.m.
